Hooked VHS and DVD discussion
Hey guys! As a few of the discord members suggested, the VHS tapes the girls have in their living room are a good opportunity for easter eggs and parodies. Do you have any suggestions? Any favorite movies from the early 2000s or 90s?

Rugrats Movie just for that iconic orange cassette tape
Pokemon the movie, Die Hard and Shrek are a must have
Wet Dream on Elm Street? Can’t really think of anything to replace Elm though :/
Lmao yes! Maybe just something stupid like "Wet dream on Schmelm Street"
El dorado. Wallace & Gromit. Treasure Planet. Who framed Roger rabbit (1988 to be fair, but a Funky movie anyways). Indiana Jones. Star Wars. Simbad, legend of the seven seas.
Ohhhh good suggestions! I think movies from the 80s would be good too, cause that'd be movies from their childhood
No 90s VHS collection is complete without Space Jam.
Absolutely!
Dia hard just seems appropiate
Lol you're right! What's a good parody name?
1999 was a huge year for movies and they were late enough that they were likely a lot of folks' first DVDs, like the Matrix. But my vote is for MY first DVD: Mystery Men
Matrix is a must!
The Lost Boys (1987); The Thing; The full Goosebumps set; Lord of the Rings; classic slashers like Friday the Thirteenth and Nightmare on Elm Street; maybe some imports, like Battle Royale and Ringu?
Ohhh I should absolutely have Goosebumps and some horror movies in there!
Dark City is my favorite "goth" noire film.
Ooo I should have some goth movies in there!
Shriek = Scream Claws = Jaws Johnny Boy = Tommy Boy The Pleasing Thing = The Sweetest Thing Oblivious = Clueless Etc… 😂
Great suggestions!!
I'm a big fan of pretty much any of the Star Trek Movies, so anything in that space would be fun.

Would Ps2 games count? How bout Sly Cooper?
Ohhh playstation games could be fun!
The Digimon Movie
