Cyberpunk Miata Build: Custom Turbofans. Part 1 of 2

Another late upload this time. I need to stop being so ambitious with the amount of work I always try to cram into these things.

I'm excited to finally be back working on this Mx5 and in this video we make a start on the new wheels and turbofan inserts.

This video covers the process of fabricating the new 15x13j steel wheels and then goes into the details of designing and 3d printing a pair of (hopefully) functional turbofans.

I'm absolutely stoked with how this thing is coming together and I hope you all enjoy the video. There will be another detailed post coming next week were I go really in depth but for now please enjoy these booty shots.

Unfortunately I didn't quite make it to the glitch carbon for this video but here's a super quick test I did with some 3M carbon imitation vinyl.

There will be some extra decals over the top of this to break it up even more and give it that last little bit of cyberpunk styling but even this rough test with the sticker looks promising.

Thanks bro. I still laugh every time I walk past the back of it, it is comically wide now hahaha. more than twice as wide as the OEM wheels.

Looks Great 👌🏻 So as I am from germany, I wonder how this can all be legal :-0 (Or isn’t it?)

Thanks mate. Not legal, gave up on that years ago. New Zealand has it's own version of the TUV called the LVVTA and I would argue it's even worse because unlike the TUV which has very set rules, here in NZ it feels like they just make up rules if they dont like you.
