Unveiling 2 More Builds for 2026 and beyond!
It's finally arrived!
After almost a full year of waiting, my container with all my fiberglass moulds and my childhood S13 has finally made it to the new workshop.
It feels so good to finally have that over with. I know I tried to get a whole bunch more sent over like my tools and my personal belongings, but that ended up just being effectively impossible, so I'll just spend the next few years slowly bringing it all back over in my suitcases.
This S13 is my own Silvia that I bought when I was 15 years old from a farm in West Auckland. I've owned this car for half my life and those years have definitely not been too kind to it, but at least it was able to survive my teenage years relatively unscathed.
I've always had huge plans for this car and am looking forward to going through them all with you over a new restoration series that I'll be doing on this which is going to be like the Mx5, a very long term build series, with extreme detail and me using everything I've learnt over the past 2 decades and putting it into practice.
The plan for this car is to build my dream 90's drift car, even though ironically I'm no longer interested in drifting, but I still love the style.
It will have full interior and the goal is to keep it as an incredibly comfortable to drive car, but with my one of a kind FJ22 engine.
The largest problems I need to solve at the moment are going to be fixing a LOT of rust that has started to show up as a result of me screwing up some previous paint prep, but we'll get into those details a bit later.
But here's a few photos of it from over the years.
I can't even begin to describe how excited I am to finally have this back after 6 years of having it be worked on by other engine builders and mechanics and just slowly losing pieces to time.
As for the second build...
So if you guys follow my Instagram you might have seen this joke post I made a few days ago:
And this is sort of a tongue in cheek response to Rocket Bunny's new Choro-Q baby R32 kit. A lot of people were asking me to make my own version and so I went back to the drawing board completely.
I spent a good couple days coming up with what I thought would be an unbeatable project, something insane that's an evolution of everything I've made before, my most impressive project to date.
This is not that.
This was me lifting the front end off the Toyota and not having any space inside to put it, so I thought for a joke that I would put it on the Twin and it ended up making me laugh so hard I took a few photos to share on Instagram before not thinking about it again.
This was meant to just be a funny little joke at this make believe rivalry between me and Rocket Bunny, we laugh, and then we all move on. But it kinda blew up and I ended up getting quite a few DMs asking me if I was seriously making this.
To be honest with you I hadn't even really considered building this for real because I've got other plans but those wont be happening for a while, and I don't want to take my Twin off the road for a joke.
Well to make a long story short, someone has put a deposit into my bank account and has their own Twin on it's way to my garage with the plan that once these panels are done with on the MRS (these are just the prototype panels) that we'll re-use them to make a baby 787b kit for their Twin.
So yeah, I'm gonna have a pair of Twin projects going on, not what I expected but life's all about fun little surprises. And it's not like I don't want to build it, I think this will be hilarious. But I let the owner know that the Group C and my other builds take priority.
That means as of right now my ever growing list of builds is:
- Toyota MRS Group C project
- Suzuki Twin daily driver project
- Suzuki Twin baby Group C project
- Nissan Silvia resto-mod project
- Cyberpunk Mazda Mx5 build
- ???? mystery project that honestly I may abandon as I haven't touched it in years.

This is amazing, love everything. I’m glad to be along for this epic journey 🤟✊
The Silvia is going to be probably my "from now until the end of time" project. As soon as I think I'm done I'll no doubt find some new problems and issues to fix. Rust is gonna keep me busy for most of that
Ouch ouch ouch. The old coupe looks great. You’ll be a happy lad. Reminds me of my late Acura Legend Coupe.
From some angles it does look just amazing, but up close it's definitely got some work to keep me very busy
I can see the price of Suzuki Twins going through the roof in the next six months.
I was quite surprised they werent already going up even before Rocket Bunny, when I got mine it felt like a lot of people already knew how they great were.
