Progress Report
Hey everyone !
I never know how to start these posts... so uhmmm yeah I'm still working on the update and it's progressing steadily.
Now then, I wanted to talk a bit about the content of the first update for that Chapter. As you can expect it's going to be a lot of build up for every character. However, since there's a lot of them and I need to make double the amount of scene because of Mirko it may feel like each character as less content than usual for a first chapter. Of course I'm no superhuman so there's only so much stuff I can do in 3 months especially considering I've also had to do all the sprites, the maps and so on.
But I've made sure to give you some proper exciting content as well.
This update will also not be 100% representative of the whole chapter :
- it will be very guided since this is an intro
- It makes it seem like Mirko gets spicier scene just because she gets into the more serious content quicker with each character
- Your decisions for now don't impact the flow of the game a lot and just lets you decide who between Laz and Mirko gets a scene
The second point will be balanced out by the fact Laz gets more scenes with each character so the build up is a bit slower. And also because she's less rash than Mirko.
As for the third point, for the whole first half of the chapter most decisions won't lock you out of a path so even if Mirko gets some scene with a character Laz will still be able to interact and progress their content. Only in the later part of the chapter will Laz/Mirko be able to completely cockblock the other.
Completely unrelated point, but I felt like I had to mention it somewhere. Normally, I would’ve already run a poll for the next chapter’s theme after Chapter 5. But there’s one chapter I’ve been wanting to do for a while. One I can slot in pretty much anytime in the game (because it's not gonna progress the lore at all) and I just know it wouldn’t win any polls if I included it alongside more popular options. So I’ve decided that it would be Chapter 6, no voting this time. You’re stuck with it.
If you're wondering which it is, it's been in every poll since the start and it's Persona 5.
Of course since I just dropped that here, not a lot of people will see it but it's fine, I'll communicate about it later.

im guessing as you said there will be hand holding to show you how to play the new chapter and I just want to ask will your self insert just say you should focus on X so Mirko doesn't steal them away from you?
Nah, the way to avoid Mirko content will be a bit more subtle than this. And will be completely invisible for all those who actually want to go into the chapter full blind.
I wonder if one of the differences between Mirko and Laz is that Mirko is aiming for impregnation, while Laz is aiming for corruption
It's one of the possibilities. Still unsure at that point.
I'm looking forward to chapter 5 and p5 for the win! It's my current hyper fixation. You mentioned a way to ensure Mirko gets no scenes with the other girls. Would that also be introduced at the beginning of this new chapter to ensure you don't get one of her scenes by accident, or would that safety measure come later?
It's there from the start
Thank you very much for your work. Take it easy. Personally, I don't mind waiting a few more months for each update or having more subparts before finishing the chapter. I prefer a longer, well-crafted chapter to one that's tight and unsatisfactory for your viewing pleasure.
Ch5 goes down that road of having more subparts. (Probably)

P5 sounds like a grand time to me
Much like the MHA chapter it's been in my mind since the start of the game and is one of the Chapters I'm most inspired for. Which also mean that just like the MHA one it's one of the chapter that will be the hardest to make xD
