Soulmates ๐๐ - Process
I'm sharing with you the process for this piece!
As usual, I start with a sketch that I clean up until I get the lineart. Then I add flat colors, and finally I work on lighting!
This is my actual workflow! I use it for almost everything I do
I'm slowly trying to make my sketches way cleaner!
I hope you like it!!

Yeah!! Iโd love a tutorial, I use a similar method but do all my shading on one layer, maybe seeing how you do it will help me improve ^^
Looking back at this, do you do your flats before your shading and light or after
OH I do the flat colors first!! And this is VERY useful for me. As a quick explanation, I do a base grey color for the WHOLE picture (both characters). Then I use masks to separate colors! For example: on top of this grey base color I do one mask for Diego in red, and a second mask for Diana in blue. Then I keep adding (on separate layers) each part of the outfit. This way it is easier for me later to paint shadows! In case I need to use a selection for a concrete part of the outfit, I just look for the layer with the flat color I need :) I could make a quick tutorial if this is useful to show!
