Development Update — March

Hey everyone!

Here’s the latest update on what I’ve been working on and what’s coming next.

AI in the Game?

Short answer: yes and no.

With the rise of AI and how some creators use it in their workflow — whether for renders or full animation generation — I want to make something very clear: I will not go down that road.

Everything you see in my games — and everything you will continue to see — is created by me:

  • Writing

  • Code

  • Renders

  • Animation frames

The new feature I mentioned is more like side content, not the main focus of the game. As I’ve said before, I value your time. I don’t want each update to feel like you just finish the story quickly and then wait months for the next one.

My goal is to make the game feel more alive and sandbox-driven, with systems like:

  • AI chat (side feature)

  • Mini-games

  • Gallery & Replay

  • And more interactive elements

Now, where does AI help me?

I won’t deny that I use AI tools in limited ways — for example:

  • Cleaning or optimizing parts of the code

  • Improving certain functions

  • Assisting with some soundtrack generation

That’s it.
There is no AI used in core writing, renders, or animations.

I hope that clears things up.

Version 0.15

For those who played the update, you’ve probably noticed how much deeper the story is getting.

The ending of this update marks the end of Part 1 of the chapter, and things will only escalate from here.

Version 0.16

Wonder Woman is coming in this update with her own questline, alongside Ella. Both will have interesting and meaningful content, along with development for other characters as well.

This update is currently planned to release around the game’s Anniversary in April.

Origin of Valor (DLC)

The first promo will go live either this month or next month, giving you a better look at what to expect — along with a few surprises.

Overall, DLC development is going great.

Important: Tier Pricing Changes

I want to be transparent about something.

Unfortunately, tier pricing on the site may increase in the future. Nothing is finalized yet — I’m still studying the pricing structure — but I want to explain why this is being considered.

Since the first release, the game’s:

  • Visual quality

  • Content depth

  • Technical systems

have significantly improved.

At the same time:

  • Sales on itch have been poor for obvious reasons

  • Payments are often delayed

  • Development costs (software, hardware, production) continue to rise

If pricing changes happen, they would likely take effect around the end of June.

However, this is important:

If the change happens, it will only apply to new subscribers.

There will be legacy pricing, meaning current supporters will keep their existing tier price.

I will always announce any confirmed changes months in advance.

Other Notes

  • I may stop sales on itch.

  • The game will not release on Steam.

  • DLC production has officially ramped up.

  • Several new animations and frames are already completed.

To summarize:

  • No AI is used in core code, writing, renders, or animations.

  • Patreon tier prices may increase (not confirmed yet).

  • Version 0.16 is likely coming in April.

  • DLC progress is strong and steady.

Thank you again for your continued support and patience. It truly means a lot.

More updates soon.

Yes, I’m working on a few. Subscribers can DM me their requests based on their preferences, and commissions will be opening soon.
