Development Update — November
Hey everyone!
Here’s the latest on what I’ve been working on and what’s coming up for the game.
Version 0.13
The entire introduction and parts of Chapter 1 have been rewritten for a smoother, more natural flow, with most grammar mistakes fixed and the dialogue improved overall.
If you start a new playthrough, you’ll definitely notice the difference!
Highlights of Version 0.13:
Reworked dialogue and story pacing
A new Roxy encounter option when you first try to meet her
A new option with Alice
New soundtrack for story scenes and free roam areas (added for v0.13 content)
Originally, my plan was to release Version 0.13 in January 2026, but due to some financial challenges between July and October (support dropped from 50 to 19), I’ve had to adjust my schedule a bit.
The good news is that support is rising again, and we’re now back up to around 25 supporters, thanks to the huge success of the v0.13 beta release!
Development is still moving forward steadily, and if things go well, I may release this update earlier, possibly in December or even late November this year
Upcoming DLC — Origin of Valor
I’m really excited about this one!
This will be my first standalone DLC, and the script is shaping up beautifully.
However, due to the financial situation I mentioned earlier, it’s unlikely that Origin of Valor will release this year. Once things stabilize, I’ll share more updates, sneak peeks, and maybe even some concept art.
For now, my main focus is on Version 0.14 to keep the main game progressing smoothly.
Version 0.14
Work on v0.14 is going great. I’m focusing on balancing pacing and not rushing any scenes — especially after the big Chapter 2 introduction in v0.13.
I know some of you might miss seeing your favorite characters if they don’t appear much in the next update, and I totally get that. Don’t worry — I’m making sure there are great moments for a wide range of characters so everyone gets something to enjoy.
Other Notes
Since the last devlog, I’ve made major improvements — not just to the game, but also to my development tools and workflow. I’ve been spending more time refining each frame, improving visuals, and polishing small details to really elevate the experience.
I took a short break back in July to recharge and plan out my next steps, and that helped a lot. I’m now more focused than ever on making this game the best it can be — with more heroic moments, deeper meaning, and new superheroes joining the story. I’m genuinely excited for what’s coming next
Thank You
Thank you all so much for your patience and ongoing support — you’re the reason this project keeps moving forward.
The next update will clearly show how much things have improved, and I can’t wait for you to experience it!
