WIP: Bringing Zen to Life

We are finally working on the final part of the Yutori series! Well, since the bathroom isn't that big, this set is a bit smaller and more ambient, featuring lots of soft candle lighting and stone clutter: a soap and toothbrush holder set and tsumi-ishi stone towers! It's a pretty rough and raw set, but everything looks sooo calm.

We absolutely loved working on the stone tower! The hardest part was to create the organic shapes to match the reference picture, and oh boy, we spent hours obsessing over where to place each stone and sculp just the right form. We eventually had to call it done before it drove our OCD asses crazy! But it finally turned out to be, not bad XD.

Then, moving on to the texturing phase, we once again spent hours trying to find and paint just the right texture - capturing that raw, weathered feel of river stone with smooth edges while still keeping it Maxis Match. It’s always an ongoing battle between sticking to the reference and toning it down so it doesn't look too realistic. But that's exactly why we love making CC! It’s a challenging yet fun process, and we learn something new every day.

The set is pretty much finished now, we're just working on a few more swatches in Photoshop. Hopefully, we can drop it soon, so stay tuned! 🌸♨️
