WIP: Modding Progress & Throwback

Hey everyone! Here’s a quick update on what’s happening behind the scenes!

We’ve been modding our new food and drink items but hit a bit of a hiccup with the drink interactions. Coding custom tuning data for functional food/drinks means working with thousands of lines of code, scrolling back and forth forever just to get a single function or interaction to play nicely in-game! 💻 Behind every functional item is a mountain of code, but seeing a Sim actually use our custom creation makes all worth it! We hit a little roadblock with the soda cans, so we’re taking a well-deserved breather before diving back in to fix them.

In the meantime, we wanted to share some cozy texturing throwback WIPs from Sukima Part 2! 🎨 Since this study set had so much detailed clutter, we spent hours getting the textures just right to nail that retro, vintage aesthetic.

Thanks so much for sticking with us and supporting our process! Let us know what your favorite piece from Sukima Pt. 2 was! 💖👇

yikes, that code mountain is scary!! wishing you guys the strength to take it on!! the clutter items look soooo cute, and the school table + chair looks so perfectly nostalgic!!! my favorite part has got to be the little curved pieces of graph paper in the clutter items, they're so cute to me for some reason lol.

Omg yess, it’s so wild! That was literally just one snippet of lines... we definitely need all the strength we can get! 😂 Thank you so much! We're so happy you love the clutter and the nostalgic vibe, and yay for the tiny graph paper!!

Aww, that's such a cool idea! The set is already out and we didn't even think of adding one! But we actually have a dining nook set coming up (shh, sneak peek! 😉✨), so we'll definitely add a bunch of lace tablecloths!
