WIP: The Gaming Den

The first WIP of the month is here!!! 🎮 🕹️ 👾

We are so excited to share the first draft of this new collection with you! We made yet another TV (yes, we are obsessed with retro CRT televisions 🙉 ) and a game console. Plus, a ton of game cartridge clutter.

The highlighted contestant is inspired by the infamous Sega Genesis! We had a hard time choosing which console to make because there are just so many of them; we were initially looking at a PS1 reference, but we switched to this model after a patron suggested one of those super cool Sega consoles—we fell in love with it right away!

You might see a lot of different kinds of game cartridges scattering around in the scene because my indecisive ass couldn't decide which one to do, and fun fact the controller is inspired by Sony.

We are currently trying out two basic black and white swatches (with a little rust for the aged version). We’ll be making a lot more colors and adding plenty of details along the way—including the cartridge covers!

We know we’ve been spamming you guys with TVs lately lol, but we swear this time is different. We included a set of old-school game-related stickers on the sides and some game clutter on top, just to add a little bit of that messy, personal touch.

There are still a lot of details to add—graphics, text, and a some OCD fine-tuning along the way—but we are having so much fun with this collection already. Stay tuned for our next drop!

Psst... our collection name will be related to "past time" or "play time" in Japanese. Can you guess what it is? 😉
