Since i've been gone awhile, I am going through and trying to see what may be broken or outdated. This is difficult because I often times cannot replicate the problems some of you are having but i swear im TRYING my best to!
Please stay patient with me and if you have had issues such as the rainbow flickers please please shoot me a message on Tumblr or here so we can troubleshoot together! I need one dedicated person who can really help narrow down the problem and try different things.
In the mean time PLEASEEEE make sure your game/graphics card is updated. Also try switching back to Direct 9 from 11 if you have not tried that already!

I wanted to share something I discovered while troubleshooting the flashing/rainbow issue, as it may help narrow down the cause. I am running DX11, and while I know one commonly suggested fix is reverting back to DX9, I didn't want to do that. Instead, I started digging through the files themselves to see if I could identify what was actually causing the problem. After a lot of testing, I found that the issue appears to be caused by an incorrectly made specular map. Replacing the existing specular map with a blank 4x4 image immediately resolved the flashing/rainbow effect on every affected item I tested. To make sure it wasn't a one-off fix, I went through all of the Dollish CC in my game that was exhibiting the flashing issue and tested the same method. So far, it has worked on every affected Dollish item I have found. Obviously, I can't guarantee this is the cause of every flashing report or every affected package, but the results were consistent enough that I thought it was worth sharing. Prior to replacing the specular maps, the items would flash under DX11. After replacing them with a blank 4x4 image, the flashing disappeared completely. Since many users are being advised to switch back to DX9 as a workaround, I thought you might be interested in a potential file-level fix that allows the content to continue working properly under DX11. Hopefully this helps and saves you some troubleshooting time.
This is FANTASTIC!! Thank you SO MUCH! Would you be able to send me over that specular map? I would love to update everything and use it in the future to hopefully avoid the issue. I sincerely appreciate this so much I would’ve never guessed it to be the spec map. I’m not sure why it doesn’t flash for me but it’s so hard to fix when I can’t recreate the issue. Thank you again!
hi there, i've experienced flickering/flashing with "Hundred Acre Wood Nursery - Crib", "Bearly Bedtime Nursery-Crib" and "Bounce With Me! Infant Bouncy Seat Fix". other people mentioned the same nursery sets in previous comments, but i wanted to clarify both the specific objects and the specific issues i've had with them. i decided to edit and resend my comment because i wasn't satisfied with how i worded it initially, sorry about that.
hey I love alll your work <3 but most every infant bedroom set or rockers/bounces have the rainbow flash glitch ik one for sure is the hundred Acker woods set{also liking comments to show what things are broken in my game.
We shouldn't have to switch from dx11 back to dx9. The creators should update their content.
I’ve been trying but I can’t replicate the issue in my own game. There’s only so much I can do. The content is updated I just can’t find the cause for it.

the Bearly Bedtime Infant Nursery flickers and flashes
So, I checked your mods that I have installed using DX11 and the following mods are flashing -The Pack N Go set - Bounce with me bouncy seat - Let's play infant activity mat - Rock and Rollin Carseat and Stroller - Double Trouble Stroller-Big Seat - Snuggle in Pt. 6 Mamaroo seat - Swiftly Sways infant Swing - Teeny Travels Bassinet, and Whimsy Wave Infant Swing. I love your mods so much, and I'm hoping that you are able to fix them for DX11. I'm glad to see that you have returned and am excited to see what you come up with next!
