Liability (part 10) - Colors
Well… it’s here
If you’ve seen any of my meltdowns about these pages, then you probably know I’m not very happy with how the colors turned out. I knew what I was getting myself into when I decided to add 3 more characters + their entire outfits, but damn I underestimated how hard it would be to color this 💀
It’s super frustrating because I keep thinking that at this point I should be better at coloring already, but maybe progress is just slower than I wish it would be. Anyway, I’m sorry for the funky looking colors 😭 I’m always doing the very best I can with them, but it’s still my weakest spot.

Random thought..but Xiaos back? 🤌❤️🤤
THE WAY YOU MAKE ZHONGLI. MY MOUTH IS WATERING
I think the colours look good, and quite close to what you were aiming for 🫂🫂🫂❤️
Thank you Anng ❤️❤️🫂🫂
BUT RHE COLORS ARE GORG?? AND PLZ XIAO IT ISNT UR FAULT
Thank you 🥹💜
1) please don't be hard on yourself with the coloring, it's gorgeous 2) Xiao standing away from the others and the panel of his lower face, I can feel the sadness. Poor baby is clearly blaming himself and I just want to hug him 😭
Thank youuu I’m glad Xiao’s panels came off as I intended 🥹🙏 Can you imagine his despair and guilt 😭
Don't be so hard on yourself! I'm inhaling this content as soon as you put it out either way 😊
Thank you 🥹💜
I honestly couldn't tell what colors you were talking about except for Qiqi. But even then, the only thing I think for Qiqi is the saturation levels. A shade or two duller would be perfect for the atmosphere of this scene, boss. :) Other than that, I'm loving the colors and the shading. Chef's kiss! 💅💅💅💅
Thank you! 💖 I tend to go too saturated for my colors and with Qiqi being the only character here with cooler colors here, it was a toughie 🥲🥲
My dear this is gorgeous. With experience comes growth you are definitely improving. Meanwhile poor Lumine why do I feel it's one of Xiao old enemies doing this nightmare fever dream!?
Thank you 💖
Full Color Zhongli has me on my Knees qwq <3
Thankfully he’s very monochromatic and makes the job easier 😭❤️
Colors are super duper hard!!! Just keep practicing :) drawing things you love is a great way to get better, because you WANT to draw them. Anyway I said it before and I’ll say it again: Zhongli is so handsome I’m going to jump off a bridge. AND ALSO!! I’m literally so amazed at how you draw these characters SO on-model and yet they are still distinctly in your style….incredible that you can merge those two things like that
Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️❤️ Drawing characters for the first time is always a challenge to have them match my usual style and not be too much of a copy of the in-game model 🤧
THE COLORING IS AMAZING NYM
Thank you!!🙏
The background almost reminds me of my teapot of one of the rooms I customize on Wednesday
It’s based on the Liyue bedroom set from the teapot ✨
Dude your art is epic and from my experience all artist are perfectionists and never think they’re art is good enough. But from my humble opinion I think the colors came out beautifully. Zhongli, Qiqi and Baizhu look awesome.
Thank you so much 🥹🙏❤️
