Book 9 cover
Mid vacation post! I hope you did not get jumpscared by the notification.
Anyway, I am enjoying my vacation and I hope you guys are doing well. But back to the post. Book 9 cover is finally completed and we can have a good look at Adrian and his vessel!
I would say the cover is 90 - 95% lore accurate, but I allow that because I think the artists should have some leeway. If we wanted it 100% accurate then the red figure would be partially transparent, its features would not be as visible and Adrian would probably look 5-10y older. Oh, and the figure would be blue as it was at the time when it tore apart these green metal doors from the time when Adrian and our cast went after Calvorn.
But I like having the figure red as it is now - after Adrian "kidnapped" the Wraith. And it makes really nice contrast to the door. Overall I am very happy with the cover!
Back to vacationing I go!

The art feels very different from the previous ones no ?
Yeah blue one is for our boy
Prob my least favorite thing is authors posting non-chapters without an acompanying chapter )'; Just save it, you tease!!
Your artist is great with textures! Also it’s really smart to let the artist have some discretion as they can make some decisions to make the art more appealing/interesting visually! I did feel a bit confused that the figure wasn’t transparent though, and second guessed that this was Adrian because of it 😅
Enjoy your vacation
Great cover, fruadrian really has a punchable face
TFTMVP (Mid Vacation Post)!!!
Great picture!
Does Nat's look similar? I always imagined them sort of connected to the user. Like a shadow peeling itself off the ground and floating behind them.
From the description Nat’s vessel would have no face just 2 eyes that mimic Nat’s. It would also be covered in glowing scars. I imagine it as not really having a neck or articulated joints but just made of smooth mana but that might just be me
🤯😱😱
Tftc looks great can the next one have Ruby and Kindness in it?
Great cover !
Nice!
Badass cover, I love it!
