🌙 BQ Night Visitor
Hey everyone! This is the biggest content drop since the Dual-NV update. Three brand-new systems, the victim's cravings are now real actions you can watch happen, and a pile of fixes that finally kill the little immersion-breakers.
Everything below is tested and stable.

The Peeper — a new way the predator comes for you
WickedWhims already has peepers — sims that spawn and watch through your windows. Now they can become something worse.
If a sim has both WW's Peeping trait and the Night Visitor trait, peeping stops being harmless. While he watches a victim through the window, the mod tracks one thing: is she alone in the house? (The rest of her household has to actually be off the lot — at work, at school, out.)
If she's alone, he keeps watching... and after a set time, he stops watching. He pulls on the mask, the door stops meaning anything, and he comes in.
How it works:
He behaves like a normal WW peeper until the conditions line up — sims that are only peepers never change.
Watch time is configurable: 15 / 30 / 60 sim minutes before he breaks in.
The attack happens right where he was watching — same room if she's indoors, that exact spot if she's outside.
A single custom card announces it, with the predator's face.
This is the first predator in the mod that stalks before it strikes.
Partner Defense — someone finally fights back
Until now, if the victim's romantic partner walked in on an attack, they'd just... get a jealousy moodlet. Not anymore.
When the partner arrives, a dialog gives you three choices:
Fight — the partner squares up against the Night Visitor. A real standing brawl (no more awkwardly sitting down to "chat"), and the animation's winner now matches the actual result. If the partner wins, the predator flees. If the predator wins, the partner drops — knocked out cold on the floor for 3 hours, jealousy suppressed while they're down — and he goes back to the victim.
Call the police — the partner calls it in and the predator bolts.
Watch — the partner doesn't stop it. He stands and watches. And if you want, he can join in — the predator won't refuse him anymore.
And there's a slow burn here: if a partner watches and joins three times, something breaks in him. He gets the Night Visitor trait and the Predator skill. The one who was supposed to protect her becomes one of them.
In dual-NV attacks the companion now waits and watches the fight instead of wandering off, and only leaves if the fighter loses.
🚓 Police Arrest — alarms have teeth now
Got a burglar alarm on the lot? The Night Visitor trips it just like a burglar. Alarm blares → the household panics and wakes in fear → the police are called → and if the cop arrives while he's still there, he gets arrested.
And he knows it. Now that the police can come down on him, hiding his identity stopped being a choice and became a necessity: he comes in disguised — either the burglar outfit or his classic all-black Night Visitor look. It's not just for the aesthetic anymore; it's survival.

😢 The victim's cravings are now real
The Victim's Phase 1 cravings used to be text + a moodlet. Now she actually does them, on screen:
Cry alone → she walks to the bathroom, shoos everyone out, locks the door for everyone (so no one walks in and she can't wander off), and breaks down in front of the mirror — real tears, ruined makeup, the sobbing loop — for a set time. When it's done, the crying clears and the door unlocks.
Stare at the ceiling in bed → she lies down and stays there until the relief hits, then gets up on her own.
Stare at herself in the mirror → she freshens up at the mirror, confronting her own face.
Compulsive washing → shower, bath, or sink, whatever's there.
The trauma system finally has a body.
🐛 Fixes that clean up the whole experience
The "stuck sim" loop is gone. Some of you saw a sim, on their own, keep trying an interaction that instantly cancels — over and over until you gave them a manual order. That was leftover combat/door state clinging to sims after an event. It's now cleaned up on zone load, with a safety timeout so it can never stick again.
Fights stay standing. Sims no longer sit down to "chat" instead of throwing hands.
The fight result matches what you see. No more watching the predator visibly lose and then "win" anyway.
Reputation protection is now bulletproof. A victim will never pick up negative fame from an attack or from fighting a Night Visitor. Not from the friendship hit, not from the brawl — nothing.
WW starts where the attack happened — no more sims teleporting three rooms away to a random bed.
⚙️ New settings
All in the config menu:
Peeper attacks — on/off, break-in chance, and watch time (15/30/60).
Partner defense — on/off.
Police arrest — on/off.
🌍 Translations
Still fully 🇬🇧 English and 🇪🇸 Spanish, with every new string synced across both. The translation templates in translations/ have been refreshed with all the new keys.
Translators: grab the updated template.json (EN) or template_es.json (ES) — a couple dozen new lines are in there for the peeper, partner defense, arrest, and cravings.

If it is installed correctly, the problem is likely that it needs to be switched to "ON" in the settings menu.
hey whenever i spawn an event my sims disappear then i cant save my game

Hey! Thanks for reaching out, and for thinking of NV for inZoi — that genuinely means a lot. Short answer: it's something I'd like to do, but not yet. First, to be clear about what it would actually be: it couldn't be a port. Nothing carries over. Night Visitor is built directly on top of The Sims 4's internals — its interaction system, its situations, its animation pipeline — and inZoi is a completely different engine. So it wouldn't be "NV ported to inZoi", it would be a brand new mod, written from scratch, that happens to share the same ideas: the predator's cycle, the thirst, the victim's trauma progression. I'd be up for that. But a few things have to happen first. I don't own the game yet. That's step one, and it's not a small one — I'd need to actually play it properly before designing anything for it. inZoi isn't The Sims 4, and that matters more than it sounds. Every life sim handles its core mechanics differently. Paralives looks similar to Sims on the surface, but under the hood plenty of things work in a completely different way — and I expect inZoi to be its own thing too. Before writing a single line I'd need to understand how it actually handles autonomy, relationships, needs and interactions between characters, because the entire design of NV leans on those. Some of it might translate beautifully. Some of it might not be possible at all, or might need a completely different shape. And the big one: NV doesn't do the adult content itself. It's a director. It tells WickedWhims what to do — start this scene, with these two characters, in this room, with this tone, and tell me when it ends. For the same thing to work in inZoi, WickedZoi would need to let other mods drive it by code. That's usually the last thing an adult framework gets, not the first, and WickedZoi is still early in development. Without it, there's simply nothing to build on top of. Plus, honestly, I'm not finished here. NV still has content I want to complete in The Sims 4 — the higher predator levels are still placeholders. I'd rather finish one mod properly than end up with two half-built ones. So: not a no. A "not yet". I'm keeping an eye on it, and if inZoi's modding matures and WickedZoi opens up, I'd love to build this over there. Thanks again for the idea — and for playing!
excellent mod! I am getting some errors at the moment unfortunately. NV spawns regularly but then nothing actually happens, and I keep getting the following exception: visitante_mod\Scripts\visitante_mod\visitante_situation.py Exception while creating sims, sim_id=764792102824182458; failed (TypeError: create_sim_instance() got multiple values for keyword argument 'spawn_point_override') any tips on how to fix this?
Thumbs up to you. However, the sex tour thing makes them start some floor animations in awkward places. (On the floor under the bed, so it's kind of hidden. Same with chairs and others). Is there a way to make them follow the ww floor sex markers?
Great mod! Just have three issues. - Blue numbers sometimes appear on the floor when animations start. - Portrait picker doesn't pop up when trying to select VN candidates from the computer. - The three choices for the partner is in Spanish.
I know what the blue numbers are, but I'll fix that later because I'll have to wrestle with the code until I get it working; it might take a while to fix it completely. Now I'll get to work on the other two points.
hey, i'm having a problem with selecting candidates for the trait, every time i look it says i have 51 candidates selected for both male and female and hitting clear all doesn't fix it, any ideas what it could be?
Don't worry, that's because there are 51 Sims in 51 spaces on that panel page. It's the limit The Sims game gives for loading Sim images in a single panel. When you close and reopen it, the faces change. But that doesn't mean all 51 are VNs.
