Mod Night Visitor is now available
Hey everyone! I've already posted the Night Visitor mod on Loverslab, but we have to wait for approval.
If you're a millionaire and don't want to wait, I've already uploaded the mod here on Patreon. Look for the Night Visitor tier.
Otherwise, you can wait for approval on Loverslab; it's the same version. It just might take hours or even two days.

Hi there. I installed the mod and it's supposed to be working, but so far no aggressors are appearing, and trying to spawn one doesn't work. What's causing this?

Hi, and sorry for the trouble — this one is my fault for not explaining it better. You probably did everything right. The mod comes switched OFF. That is on purpose, so nobody gets a stranger in their house the first night without asking. But it means that after installing it, nothing happens until you turn it on. This is the most common message I get, by far. Here is how, in the game: Click on any sim (any one, it does not matter which) Choose Night Visitor — Configuration Open Spawn & Target Turn Auto-spawn master switch to ON
How do i become the hunter? This is confusing sorry
Hi I downloaded this mod but no pie menus ever pop up. I have a sim set as the hunter and set his skill to at least 2. Ive tried just about everything from checking the computer, clicking on the sim and trying visitor.config in the console but nothing happens. I downloaded the Loverslab version and im unfortunately not a millionaire and cant use the patreon version ): please help
The version here is the same as in LL. Which menus can't you see? The settings menu? Or the NV actions menu?
After the night visitor is spawn. Both the nv and victim just stand still, then after a few minutes sims there's a fight animation (fight the rush) and that's all

How do I play as an active visitor ? I downloaded everything but still don't see a pie menu.
To make a virtual reality character playable, you need to equip them with the Predator trait from the rewards shop, and then level up their Predator skill in a mirror. Level 2 allows you to attack other Sims.

i tired it out and nothing happends sometimes my sim ends up fighting the other but most times they just stand and wont move

Any WW animation will do. If you want something more themed, I recommend searching for one with the context of Forced Earth or Rogue.
Hi. I downloaded the mod and assigned the trait to another sim. May I ask if I have to enable the mod somewhere too? Also, I can't seem to open the settings panel at all. I tried putting both visitor.config and visitante.config in but nothing happened.
The Patreon version has a settings button for PC. It doesn't appear on laptops, only on desktop PCs. By default, the mod has night spawns turned off; you have to change it to on.
I was very pleased to have made this mod. It was in The Sims 3 and I'm sorry if it doesn't appear in 4. I've already enabled the night visit to appear, but it's happening too frequently. I'd like to configure it to be less frequent. It's more exciting if it's a rarer event. As it is, it becomes a very commonplace event and ends up becoming annoying. Is there a way to reduce these events?
Ah, thank you so much. I've been waiting a long time for this mod, but no one seemed willing to do it. visitor.config Put this in the Sims 4 console, and it will open the settings panel. There you can configure the chance of a visitor appearing. I already have plans to make it a bit more situational.
