The Restaurant is no longer on Oppaiman site per my request.
Hello everyone, as you guys know, a while ago I posted my game on Oppaiman. I was hopeful about the platform and have supported it from day one. However, the recent changes there completely ruined everything. Simply put, you need to advertise their site twice a month just to keep your game visible, which means my game will become invisible as soon as I stop doing that. I specifically don’t accept this, because I know it would bother you a lot and turn my Patreon into an advertisement page. There are other words to describe this situation better, but I’d rather not use them here, though you probably get me.
I will never spam Oppaiman links on my Patreon just to get a bit more visibility. For me, it’s not a big deal—my success doesn’t rely on Oppaiman’s “generosity.” I’ll make a good game that you’ll love and rightfully earn my place. My strength and motivation come entirely from you, and as a team, we will make sure to give you nothing but our VERY BEST. I can promise you that! I’m a stubborn and passionate guy, and I’m doing this with love.
Right after I said these words on their Discord channel and spoke the truth, they decided to kick me out of their Discord. Their greed blinded them, but we all knew this was going to happen. They don’t realize these setbacks are just fuel for me. I’ve reached over 2,000 renders and keep grinding. Meanwhile, 15 animations are also finished. I’ll give you guys full numbers and everything in my next post, but I want you to know we’re making a lot of progress. Lastly, I love you all and respect you a lot for waiting patiently for this and I don’t stop cooking. Thank you.

Where can we get the game now?
Here mate-> https://www.patreon.com/posts/restaurant-v0-2-124084408 Or you can wait for my next update, which will be in 3 months. I’ll share it on my Patreon for free (after the early release).
And my support for YOU just jumped up by 110% extra percent! The idea behind Oppaiman is actually quite good, but they are getting greedy and power-hungry. They will learn the hard way! Your universe is amazing, and I always look forward to play in it. Continue being amazing <3
Thank you so much, man Everything about the game is magical, and every door opens wide as soon as I stumble upon something. I believe in this game, and I’ll do everything I can to take it further and make it better.you can be sure of that.
Good instincts. I am so sick of seeing Oppaiman cross promos on so many different accounts. It's very spammy
A few other devs also pulled their games from there. No point in bothering people with a bunch of spam. If I share something, it’s going to be good, something you’d actually like to see, not the same repeated advertisements.
It's actually funny you said this as I'm checking my feed and I see 6 other oppaiman crosspromos
You’ll see more, because he’s forcing devs to do it that way. He’s specifically targeting new devs, since they always need more supporters, and this seems like a “good idea” to them. As soon as they stop doing that, their game won’t be visible anywhere on his site. So you’ll see them keep doing it, promoting random games with only the Oppaiman link. I may earn less, maybe get less visibility too, but I won’t let my page turn into a spamfest.
Sad to see, I don't use oppaiman anyway. Your game is great and your characters are unique, your already one of the greats in my eyes
Thank you so much, man. I’ll survive, don’t worry.
What, they didn't want dissenting voices on Discord? They've always seemed to be on a trajectory to turn this into a recurring revenue stream, and whatever deal they have with Patreon seems to be part and parcel of their marketing strategy. (That and creating games with crowdsourced plot points without a plot, even though the games themselves seem to be an afterthought, now.)
In short, yes. They're obsessed with their own ideas. They know best, but no one else does. You can't have a proper conversation with people like this.
Did it say you had to advertise his site on your patreon, because if not, just do it on a channel in your discord called spam ads
No, he wants me to continuously promote his site either with my own oppaiman link or cross-promo with other devs, but always with only his site link. We basically have to click the promote button on his site so the post is automatically made when you do that. He tracks how many people come from my Patreon that way, but the thing is, you have to keep doing it;l otherwise, you lose karma points or whatever, and your game suddenly becomes invisible. They even deindexed one of my dev friend’s games, but basically my game doesn’t show up anywhere unless I type in the name of the game myself.
Your response is welcoming . I will try ot again
I wouldn’t say it’s good if it wasn’t, but from what I’ve seen so far, everything looks great. I think it will be good once we handle the script and other things. Every player is important to me.Let’s say I’ll do my best, and it’ll be up to you guys to judge. I hope we’ll be successful.
I will
Thanks!
Not worth it
Yes, the updates are slow, but I’m working on it every day, so this update will be a large-scale one, with more than 2,000 renders and plenty of animations, voices, music, new maps, etc. Things may look easy from the outside, but trust me, there’s a lot of work. I recommend giving it a try after I release it, then see if it’s worth it or not.
Also the updates are very, very slow
This is actually the first time I've ever posted a comment here. Honestly, I've played a lot of games, and I have to admit that your work is top-notch in terms of visuals and rendering. The storyline is really cool, and even though it's extremely cool and I haven't unlocked everything yet, it's one of the best games I've played so far. Clearly the most beautiful in terms of animation and quality. And yet, as I said, I have games on Steam and Opaiman, some of which I really enjoy more than others, even though they often use the same engine with the same patterns and some characters that are barely modified. In short, all this to say that you have a quality game and you shouldn't stop there. Really, keep going, I'll follow you no matter what platform you're on because I really want to see the end of the game. (At least find that damn hunter's key.) So, thank you for your choice, your honest stance, and your support for our mailbox. Have a good evening and see you soon :)
Thank you man, and yes, I don’t plan to stop, on the contrary, I’m hyped about this update and really can’t wait to release it. Animations and renders are much better than before, I’m using better lighting methods, and I’m learning more on DAZ. Most importantly, I’ll keep doing this because my girls deserve to be on top. Each of them has a separate story, and we’re very meticulous. I don’t plan to stop until I bring this game to the place it deserves, if we fail, I’ll make the next update even better. But I’m hopeful about this update, everything looks amazing: music, theme, new maps, script, visuals, animations. I will create my own visibility by making a good game and let people spread the word.
It's the same with itch... I'm sorry but to many people are falling for this dumb scam itch keeps selling that credit card companies are blocking them... sorry but no.. if a credit card company specifically decides they are going to decline something you would see it universal across every place and your payment would be declined.. not yeah you are allowed to by from our site, but the card companyis saying we can't give the money to actual creator of the product... load of crap lol it's just the excuse itch is making to steal creators money and then try to place blame on something else. My advice people need to start pulling their games off itch to.
I totally agree with what you’re saying. Itch.io isn’t my main revenue source, but it helps with visibility, so I make my game completely free there. I removed the donation option until things get sorted out. I really hate how greed and opportunism take a role here. I’m grateful that players rose up against this, which they did.
That guy's success comes from knowing how to exploit the system and market himself effectively, his renders are terrible. I've seen this happen before, some people understand how the industry works and offer help to new developers in exchange for their labor. Don't fall into that trap and become their slave.
I won’t sell my soul just for a bit of visibility. I’ll take the hard way and earn my place. My aim is to reach the top 3 no matter how impossible it looks. I’ll keep moving in that direction and give you guys the very best, I won’t disturb my fans with a bunch of ads.
thats too much to ask. put your game on steam or Nutaku and allow Kagura games to publish your game on steam and their website
I’ll put it on Steam when the time is right. Possibly, I’ll create my own website just like NLT Media, so things will get much easier that way. But currently, my focus isn’t on earning money, it’s on expanding my game and making it better. In the meantime, the game will be free until I release it on Steam, but we have a long way to go.
I never cared for Oppaiman. I'm a Patreon platform through and through. Sounds like they just want to use Devs to spread their site... make them look like some big AVN big shots. I always knew they were douches from their 300-supporter cross promotion requirement rule. On a side note, LOVED THE RENDERS 😍🥰😛!
That’s exactly what they’re doing—ripping off new devs and gaining new followers for themselves. I’m kind of relieved because I kept seeing pings on Discord all the time, seeing him bring in new stupid rules. He doesn’t know I’m already rich, I have you guys here.
Great decision! Don't be a slave to advertisers <3
Hell no
Looks like they took Jehovas witness as a role model... It seems really that everything and everyone wants to shit on AVN devs at the Moment. Kudos for staying strong my friend! Hope the tides will turn soon enough and all gets back to normal sinehow.
I hope so, man. I’m relying on myself and my team, and more importantly, I’m relying on you guys. I will make a good game worth playing, something you’ll enjoy. I won’t let anyone play me like a puppet.
Hmm ok :). I thought Opaiman is a good side......I know already many good games from there....But ok it is how it is now.....Have a great day :) !!
At the beginning, he was doing well for the devs, but I heard a lot of warnings from other devs earlier. Still, I supported the guy at first, but now he changed the rules and left me no choice. There’s no point in uploading my game there if it’s just going to stay invisible.
Had no idea about this platform to be completely honest, but that sounds kinda shitty based off how you described them today. I fully agree that it shouldn’t be a competition of who promotes the platform the most / best, but rather let the quality of the games speak for themselves.
Exactly, this creates an imbalance among devs, and not just that, from a player’s perspective, you’ll see a bunch of games you don’t want to play on the main page, yet they’ll be visible there just because they often share the Oppaiman link.I have a 90% positive rating on Oppaiman, yet my game isn’t even visible on the top-rated list, which it was before these rules.
