Lord of the rings will always be a classic .Can I recommend that you watch the hobbit
From J.R.R Tolkien himself, no being in the world would have been able destroy the ring in that moment its corrupting power was just too much , but only Frodo could get it to that point where it was in a position that it could be destroyed (also in the books Gollum just kinda slips in while celebrating one of the changes the movies made that was good)
If only they wouldn’t have tortured smeagol last movie wouldn’t have to go thru all this extra 😂💯
You're not wrong to have sympathy for Gollum. Tolkien uses Gollum to make an important point about people. Decent people can be corrupted to the point that they're irredeemable. Do they deserve redemption? Sure, yes, if it were possible. It's good to want to help them, like Frodo. But Sam is correct. Gollum can't be helped. The once redeemable Smeagol has been under the Ring's influence for too long. And that's true in real life. The corrupting temptation of power can work its way so deeply into someone that they're no longer redeemable in this life.
If you really think about it smeagol was the real hero. If it wasn't for him the ring would never have been destroyed
Yes MJ you graduated into more of the nerdiness 😂. Just playing, but yea Lord of the Rings has earned its place in the hearts of people. This series was so good and it’s only one of the many series that you have yet to come across. Good Shit MJ 👍🏾🔥❤️
Andy Circus played/voiced Smeagull/Gollum , he also voiced/played Caesar in Planet Of The Apes
Plz do the Hobbit trilogy which are the prequel LOTR … also the Narnia trilogy
The first thing I’ll say here, and this really irritates me, is the captions are wrong about what the king of the dead says. He actually says “that BLADE was broken.” And then Aragorn responds, “it has been remade.” It makes no sense to think he said, “that LINE was broken,” referring to Aragorn’s bloodline. But he says “blade” with a heavy accent. That being said, I wish you had watched without captions (unless of course you are hearing impaired, which is what captions are for). Captions distract from the visual aspect of the film when you are constantly looking down at the bottom of the screen to read words. Also, Denathor was not a bad man. He just had been secretly using a Palantir (seeing stone) and it slowly over time drove him mad. But this was a good reaction journey. I’m glad you were finally able to appreciate tbese very fine films.
My hearing is pretty bad 😭 especially when people are speaking out of frame and I can’t see their lips moving. Captions help me follow what’s being said but obviously it’s frustrating finding correct ones.
I love this movie
