It still blows my mind that after all these years, Tom Cruise is still doing this. He along with many others…were born to act.

1:15:02 The filmmakers took some creative liberties here. In actuality, lactic acid doesn't cause lungs to bleed as indicated by the film. It's actually a number of different factors. It occurs when cells lack oxygen and switch to anaerobic metabolism, producing lactate and lowering blood pH, as opposed to an abrupt poison triggering pulmonary hemorrhaging. The two types of lactic acidosis are Type A, which is associated with a pre-existing, and often serious, condition such as septic or hypovolemic shock, or even severe tissue ischemia; and Type B (metabolic cellular dysfunction) which is often complicated by prolonged alcoholism, certain medications like metformin or intense physical exertion, all of which curtail pyruvate production in the body's organs.

Excellent choice. One of the late great Rob Reiner's best movies to date.

“YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!” My second favorite Jack Nicholson performance, behind The Shining😁
