The future of IF THEN ELSE Interactive Fiction...

We’re not going anywhere. Month after month, we’ll keep adding fresh character assets to the library and pushing forward with our games.

So far, we’ve shared more than 400 characters with our patrons! That’s over $29,000 worth of art assets made available at a fraction of the cost to our supporters, and we’re eager to do even more. Right now, we’re talking to two fantastic artists who could join our monthly line-up, bringing new styles and diversity to the collection. The only catch is that it would double our expenses, and at the moment, we’re just about breaking even each month.

That’s where your support makes all the difference. Every pledge helps us cover the art we release, pay real artists amidst the AI onslaught, and sustainably grow the project.

On the gamedev side, Infinite Stars is still growing, with new storylines and branches being developed. We’re also interviewing for another writer to help move things along more quickly and to work on side projects, such as Thalassaphilia. (<- An excellent example of a project made basically with our character assets.)

We’re really excited for what’s ahead. With your continued support, we can keep building bigger, better, and more ambitious projects, not just for us, but for everyone who creates with these assets.
