C13 Publishing presents: Peugeot 205 GTI Tolman Tribute - Update 1.02
UPDATE 25.9.2026 - v1.02 - Fixed data issue that didn't force extended phys on. If you had brake issues it's likely because you didn't have the global ext phys toggle on. We missed this in testing because we all run that toggle. I'll try to improve the testing methodology for the future.
There's a famous line floating around everyone's heads: "Nostalgia ain't what it used to be". It's a wonderfully ironic quip about how eventually even yearning for the past looses that rose tinted glasses effect because through experience you learn your memory of wonderful things past is inevitably superior to actually reliving a past joy.
But, in the car world, there is a solution to this - restomods.
Introducing the Peugeot 205 GTI Tolman Tribute. As the name implies, we took on the job of recreating the incredible Tolman edition of the 205 GTI in AC. And the result speaks for itself.
The Tolman 205, or more specifically the PEUGEOT 205GTI "EVO" as Tolman call it, is a true reimagining of what a 205 GTI would look like today. A purpose built 1.9L 16v engine putting out 200 ponies, an LSD, AP Racing brakes all around and a tasteful overhaul of almost every surface of the car makes this one for the history books. Think Singer Porsche, but it's a 205. We've recreated the general styling while leaving out some details such as the digital instrument cluster, opting instead to retain the original analog gauges. Partly due to work optimization and partly just because the OG stuff looks so damn nice. But don't worry, we made it well clear that this isn't your dad's GTI thanks to Tolman Tribute badging all around.
A real 205 GTI was used for data collection, ensuring that the fundamentals are solid and that in game handling is representative. I've never driven a 205 myself, but if you ask me what i expect a sub 1 ton hot hatch from the 80s to handle like - it's this.
For this project I once again teamed up with Yankel on the conversion and Vilau on the sound. Each of them is a master of their craft and it's hard to fault the end result. No crazy C13 spec color options this time around as i felt that Yankel did a stellar job and the spec list is the stuff dreams are made of.
As always, a massive thanks to all who have supported this project over the years, it's an incredible privilege to get to work on stuff like this and bring it to the community. Make sure to join up if you want to be a part of this story. I hope you enjoy this car as much as I do, love you guys, and i'll have more soon.

weird tyre physics, same as in 959
Lots of us feel the lift off oversteer is too unforgiving- the chap that owned 4 has never pushed his to this state I guarantee. This makes it pretty unpleasant to drive at the limit- if this happened in the real ones everyone who owned one would be dead. Same with your 959. Shame as otherwise its perfect.
There are a couple of assumptions you're making here that defeat your entire point. 1 - the chap that owned 4 never pushing it to this state doesn't mean this "state" is not representative. 2 - everyone who owned one would be dead, IF they pushed it to this "state". Whatever that state may be. You're not actually making a sound argument. That said, it's perfectly valid if you find it unpleasant to drive. I'm not disputing that bit, just your logic. We pushed it as far as we could with the data available. So i don't think it's an issue of "accuracy". I would ask that you maybe upload and dm me a vid of the kind of pace and pushing you're doing, i'll see if i can even match that with all my other skill issues, and we can then look into tweaking the setup to make it more compliant. I'm not opposed to making tuning changes for the sake of driveability. But 959 wise i've seen people drift it fine on SRP so not really sure what to make of that.
Thanks again!
Great work on the 205, the physics is pretty much spot on to how they drove , the lift off oversteer was deadly, but great once youd gotten used to it, having owned 4x 205's , with 1 of them being a Turbo Technics converted 1.9GTi id say you pretty much nailed it , good job
I love how the video looks! Where can I find the CSP settings to make it look like this?

Before I get any tier which one do I need for the ppf ?
2.28 lite is free, 2.42 is available to tier 1, 3.04 is available to tier 2 and up
If the real car handled like this, everyone who drove it IRL would be dead
Idk man, seems fine to me https://youtu.be/-9yDGNZvsns?is=hdUcG8bbAlE5nlQV
Fantastic model and sounds! I did notice that there may be something wrong with the tyre model, though, as the car barely has any grip and locks up very easily. Unless there's an issue on my end?
Make sure you have extended physics and tyre wear on. If the issue persists it may be an issue on your end. Possibly of the skill variety 😆
Super travail ! Bravo
yes great car, but it is too slippery i dont know if my skill or whatever,
After years of driving high powered, downforcey, rear wheel drive supercars...
What a great mod! Thanks a lot!
