The Future of Patreon and Discord
Hey everyone!
So I mentioned this on discord but I want to be open and honest about what's going on lately. Some rules have been changed on here, while it doesn't affect SFW hypnosis (entirely) it does limit the range of topics I can cover in my NSFW asmr/hypnosis going forward or could put my account at risk. Basically a ton of things are off the table around cnc topics and hypnosis was named in this. Upon clarification it seems that SFW hypnosis is fine but that's not a great thing to see happen for the longevity of all this.
I have been a creator here on patreon since 2017, I love patreon and have been honored to be able to do this full time because of patreon but with the limitations and the risk of my old content getting me shut down I have to look at diversifying my content structure. I am currently in the process of reposting all my content to subscribestar as well as have opened up a fansly and a couple of other options in case the worst case scenario happens. I had already started this with opening of youtube memberships and an upcoming merch opportunity but it seems like hypnosis getting a bad rep here especially could put myself and a lot of others at risk of losing our livelihoods.
At the moment it is going to be business as usual but if you see me post videos on YouTube first without mention here that's why. I'm still debating what is going to be the best move for me going forward to keep this going in a way that makes sense for the content. There's a lot of benefits to other places that patreon just doesn't have for me so that's a huge factor but also my catelog here will not get deleted by me, I'm going to keep this open for as long as patreon will have me and I guess the brightside of all of this is FINALLY it has inspired me to get serious about archiving my older work and cleaning up older posts that are no longer relevant (and a couple of audios from the early days that I really should have taken down years ago).

So, what’s the future looking like for the NSFW tier? (One of the other creators I follow has just moved to having his stories not directly on the platform)
Great question! For the future I am posting on subscribestar. Its not ideal but it's better then here for now. I'm also looking at other options like fansly for pics and small video clips so I'm still up in the air about it.

Unfortunately, Subscribestar doesn’t take PayPal, which means it’s off the table for me.
and this is why I won't be shutting down patreon because I agree, paypal is really handy but it's a rock and hard place for us creators in the hypnosis space

Thank you for the update! I'm so sorry Patreon is doing this to you and so many other wonderful creators, especially when you're in the middle of a big change with this channel and Paranorma. I've always adored your hypnosis, nsfw included. If it comes down to you switching platforms to keep all your hard work alive and availableto hear, I'll be behind you 100%. Thanks for the update - i appreciate it especially when you are facing unknowns. Easier said than done, but have you considered getting off of the nanny platforms entirely? I don’t know enough to build one by myself, but if you can get some volunteers I can help.
So eventually I would love to build my own site but I am not there just yet. For right now I'm testing a few new options alongside patreon to see what happens and then will look at more options.
You are far from the first creator making the jump to subscribestar, and if Patreon continues on their current track, I sincerely doubt you'll be the last.
I hope everyone can feel my frustration with the shift in this platform. I did really enjoy it for a long time but honestly with the video cpabilities of subscribestar, it's looking like a better fit for me and the work I have in mind. I just hope people understand.

Thanks for the update! i hope it doesn’t come to changing platforms but personally im mostly here for the sfw content so is their going to be a split with fansly mostly being nsfw or is all the sites gonna have about the same content?
That's a great question! So subscribestar is going to be pretty much the same as here with very similar tiers (and less sneaky costs) where I will have downloads of all my YT work but higher tiers for more NSFW stuff. I will be having a speciall SFW tag so people will be able to see what's SFW or not. I am also right now building a spreadsheet which will have labels and should help everyone be able to find what they want from across my various places easier. The plan for fansly is actually to do lives there. Because it is only a video and pic site with no audio that isn't live or recorded on the phone so it will be it's own thing but NSFW focused.
