Ultimate Collection #01: Charlotte Katakuri - 1st Edition

It's time for a new era, guys! You've been waiting for this one!

The second son of the Charlotte family, Katakuri is finally here. And he's so insane that we're starting a whole new collection with him.

Textures

The level of detail we put into this model is insane, guys. INSANE! We know you're already used to the level of detail we bring to our figures, but this time, we've gone even further! Every single part has its own unique textures. Metals, leather, fabric, skin. Everything manually textured from scratch. We've even added embroidery to the jolly roger on his jacket!

Carved Details

We've created optional versions of the heads with the shadow lines carved into his face. You can also print the clean versions and paint the lines yourself.

We also developed a new technique for carving his tattoos that makes them much easier to paint. Only the lines are carved, making them much easier to paint. This way, the recessed lines help prevent the ink from bleeding into the surrounding skin.

Multiple Versions

And that's not all! We've also brought you a version of Katakuri that wasn't made before. He's available in multiple configurations, with different heads and torsos.

You can display him shirtless, with his torso covered in battle damage, including the wound he inflicted on himself to even the odds against Luffy.

There's also a jacket version that shows his entire jolly roger on the back, without the scarf covering his face.

Or you can go with the fully clothed version, complete with his scarf, just like he appeared at the beginning of the fight!

Base

The base for this bust is inspired by Katakuri's merienda. It features his chocolate and strawberry doughnuts blending into the lower part of his body, which is made of mochi, of course! His teapot is also there, on the back part of the scene.

1st Edition

This is just the first edition! The complete version is coming right after, and it's going to blow your minds!

The base is huge, and we're still working on the cuts. Stay tuned, because we'll be sharing more previews on Quips soon!

And of course, there's so much more to show you! This model is part of a diorama that also features Snakeman Luffy, and together, they'll make up the biggest statue we've ever created!

Yeah, he's still pretty big even at 1/10.

Guys, this is a truly ambitious project, and it has been a huge challenge for our team. We had to create custom textures, brushes, and props specifically for this model. We did a ton of research and even had to adapt our workflow to handle a diorama of this scale.

So, a huge shout-out to Kidou, who worked with me on this project! He did an amazing job adding all those details to Katakuri's clothes and creating precise cuts for the pieces.

And another big shout-out to Scarlet, who has a lot of work ahead of her with all the pieces that need to be painted in 3MF, pre-supported, magnetized, printed, and tested!
