If the resource pack is executed successfully then you may be able to add another texture until it reaches the limits of your device's capabilities. The problem with this resource pack is that it changes all the existing blocks and there are no high resolution resource packs except this. that's basically my resource pack having a problem that rarely happens in other resource packs.
I used a low-end PC device for the tutorial to suit the conditions.
If you encounter an incompatible resource pack then you force use it (like in the video) and nothing bad happens.
I run Minecraft smoothly but my OBS studio crashes so the video tutorial stops forcibly.

I think it's a gpu hardware problem. I've always had problems with these cards and I'm ready for an upgrade
I have 16gb allocated I don't think that's it. I have run your pack at 256 in full in prior. I found that old file that worked well for me and it's working again evem tho it doesn't think it's compatible for some reason
Minecraft says the resource pack doesn't support it because there's a version difference, but that doesn't actually matter. You can still use it without any problems.
I have a watercooled red devil 5700xt, a 7600xt, and 32gb dddr5. I usually run most games on ultra settings and 1440 without too much issue. Do you think hardware is the issue or should I go deeper? I have 16gb ram allocated currently
Maybe allocating more RAM in Minecraft can solve your problem. But if it still doesn't work you can use a lower resource pack resolution such as 512x.
so your solution is not to use the whole texture pack is what youre saying. you dont have a way to use the whole thing at once for 1080+?
This condition occurs if your device is not capable of running 1024+, if your device is capable of running 1024+ then you will be able to run the full resource package.
I did this but this it still happens. I know the pc isn't limited I have a 4090 I9-13900 and 128GB of RAM.
What resource pack resolution is not possible?
