HAITUS + Updates

Yeah, the title says it all. I’ll be going on a hiatus after the next Current Household update for Janae & Vinnie. I know a lot of you will probably wonder why, and honestly… I’m just falling out of love with creating content. Or maybe it’s that creating content has started to feel hard lately.
I really thought that moving or starting a new LP would help me feel inspired again, but it hasn’t. Maybe I’m just going through a rough patch. Possibly even depression. I’m not sure. Either way, I wanted to be honest with you all.
So, what does this mean for my Patreon? I’ll be pausing billing on April 28th since there won’t be any active benefits for you all. I’ve never aimed to further monetize my content, but Patreon doesn’t allow 18+ videos to be uploaded for free, plus it's nice to not have to heavily edit my content. That’s the only reason the $2.50 tier exists LOL. I just don’t feel comfortable receiving money if I’m not actively giving anything in return.
Content Updates
I’ll still be working on Janae & Vinnie’s Current Household, but it might not drop in April. There’s a bug affecting all my save files that makes it impossible to play small business venues the way I intended, so I have to start fresh.
This is the thread explaining the bug I’m talking about.
Basically, around 70% of the lots across all my worlds and save files won’t work for small business venues. I can’t even edit the save game data to fix it, because even when the lots are set up correctly, the game doesn’t register them as small businesses. That means Janae & Vinnie, Carmen, Eden, The Browns, and even my Starter Save all have to be re-made.
It would be great if EA fixed this fuck ass bug, but I honestly have zero faith that it’ll happen anytime soon. It’s going to take me a while to rebuild everything, but I’m starting with my pride and joy first, obviously.
Upcoming Discord
I’m also currently working on creating my own Discord. So many of you have asked me about it, and I always said no because I didn’t want to risk getting caught up in any Discord drama. But truthfully, I really want to stay connected with you all especially during this hiatus so stay tuned for that!
Anyway, thank you to anyone who made it this far. I’m sorry if this is disappointing news, but I really need time to recharge. I hope you’ll stick around and wait for my return. Love you all so much! ♡

Sending love Buns. Trust I get the Sims4 burnout so much. I’ve worked so hard on my worlds just to have so many tech issues. I wish sims would do better updates as they are making bank but it is so chaotic playing sometimes. I take breaks very often as much as I love sims 4. Your content is amazing but your health and happiness matters more!! You have a lifetime fan here.

I understand totally!!! Artist burnout is real. Take care of you and your family and doing this break write down your idea's because your brain will not turn off. You will be surprised what pops up.
