Creator spotlight - Jessika’s Curse

Hey guys! We like to spotlight other Patreon creators now and again, particularly other game devs, and we thought you guys might want to check this one out, since it's got some similarities with ToA and looks promising.

Jessika's Curse - it has a painted art-style, with very pretty backgrounds, exploration, combat, and strategic elements similar to Darkest Dungeon, voice acting, and battle animations done in Spine, like ToA's.

There's a public demo out if you'd like to give it a try; I did, and I liked what I saw. There’s the busty, somewhat lusty, somewhat demure protagonist Jessika, and the precocious thief named Mouse - it looks like it’ll be a four-person party eventually, with work on what looks like a shortstack cleric being done now. It plays very similarly to Darkest Dungeon, if you’ve played that, although the full combat system seems like it’s still in the works.

They're also a creative team that's got a few games in production, and they look interesting as well, so if you're looking to support an independent ero-game studio, this might be a good place to start.
