📦 CargoLite v1.1 | Preview

Work on the next CargoLite update has already started.

The main focus of Version 1.1 will be the introduction of Custom Cargo — new delivery types created specifically for cars and vans.

CargoLite v1.1 is currently planned for release sometime next week, as long as final development and testing go smoothly.

📦 Custom Cargo

This will be the biggest addition in v1.1.

I’m currently working on several new cargo and job types, including:

• Urgent Documents
• Luxury Goods – watches, jewelry and other high-value items
• Cigarettes / Contraband Cargo
• VIP Transfer
• Business Passengers
• Airport Passengers
• Lost Airport Luggage
• Illegal Passenger Transport
• And more custom cargo types designed specifically for cars and vans

Each one will be balanced with its own realistic weight, payout and job characteristics.

⏱️ More Dynamic Jobs

I’m also experimenting with ways to make certain custom jobs feel more unique.

For example, Urgent Documents could potentially feature:

• Faster-expiring job offers
• Shorter delivery deadlines
• Tighter delivery windows
• Higher rewards for urgent deliveries

The goal is to make the “urgent” aspect actually matter during gameplay instead of simply being another cargo name.

This is still being tested, so some of these mechanics are not yet guaranteed for v1.1.

🚗 More Variety for Cars & Vans

CargoLite v1.1 is also intended to give different vehicle types more purpose.

Jobs like VIP Transfers, Business Passengers, Airport Passengers and Lost Airport Luggage could make executive cars, vans and transporters feel much more useful.

Illegal or high-risk jobs such as Contraband Cargo and Illegal Passenger Transport are also being explored as optional, more unusual delivery scenarios.

📸 Early Preview

I’ve attached some early development images showing a few of the custom cargo concepts currently being worked on.

Everything shown is still work in progress and subject to change before release.

More previews will follow as development continues.

I have plenty of ideas for where the mod can go next, and Custom Cargo is the first major step forward for CargoLite. 🚗📦

it cost money

It’s €1.99, which helps support the time that goes into developing, testing and maintaining the mod. I try to keep it as affordable as possible.
