Wave 3 (Aug 21st - Oct 6th) is here!
Hello everyone! Wave 3 and the Syrenthia update are here.
As stated in the most recent development blog, the Wave 3 of Closed Beta invites is starting on August, 21st (00:00 UTC) and ends on October, 6th (12:00 UTC).
If you've supported us on Patreon or Buy Me a Coffee before or during the wave, you gain access to WalkScape Closed Beta immediately.
The Closed Beta keeps running after the Wave ends - Waves only mean that they're a time during which we invite new players in.

Any chance of another beta wave before I stop giving you money for no reason? I've asked a month ago about another beta wave and haven't gotten a response.

Hello! We have extended the grace period a bit. People who joined last minute should get another email in couple hours.

Incredible app! This is one of the rare cases where I think mixing pixel art assets with high res backgrounds and "glass overlays" actually works fine. How do multiple characters work? Only the "active" one will register steps, right? Am I allowed to add a character for my wife on her phone or would she need her own beta invite and her own Portal account?

Hello! As in the instructions available here: https://walkscape.app/help link your Patreon to your WalkScape account in https://portal.walkscape.app. After linking, it should be immediate, but in some cases might take up to two hours for our automated system to grant access. You'll get an email when access has been granted, and can download the game from Portal's account page. The email also includes these instructions.

No invite yet, though I may have misinterpreted how this works. Are all supporters getting an invite this wave or is there a chance you get an invite this wave. Keep up the good work :)
Yes, all supporters are getting invites if the support was pledged before October 6th. Our automated system can sometimes be a bit slow, so it can take up to 2 hours until the beta invite is granted after you've linked your Patreon in https://portal.walkscape.app/account
