Attempting 10k Calories in One Day
Alright, this is my first time attempting a 10k calorie day in quite a while — I’m coming out of retirement, but boy am I rusty. I’ve set some hefty goals for gaining this fall, and naturally that meant ordering a feast of Taco Bell and Crumbl Cookies for my main meal, stacked on top of my morning plate of grits and a biscuit.
I even turned it into a bit of a Crumbl taste test....and wow, some of those cookies are absolutely obscene. One clocked in at over 1,200 calories on its own. Pure excess wrapped up in frosting.
But things took a turn with the Taco Bell order. That’s when you see my fat brat side come out — what really happens when a greedy girl isn’t pleased with her food. Pouting, grumbling, but still too stubborn to quit. Because no matter what, I push through. There are goals to hit, and those goals are nothing short of gluttony.
Now, full disclosure: I didn’t reach the full 10k, but knocking out 6k in one day isn’t bad either. A warm-up, really. Training season has officially started. Next comes the belly-stretching, the real work of building capacity. This fall, I’m not just eating — I’m preparing. Getting soft, heavy, and gluttonous for the season ahead.
