For years, I've wanted to create something with the Braveheart soundtrack, composed by the magnificent James Horner. There is something so romantic, and deeply moving about his work, and this felt like the perfect place for it.
Inspired by a piece of writing sent to me by one of my patrons. In it, my lover and I wander through the forest on a beautiful sun-kissed day, drifting farther down the trail until the world around us seems to disappear. The woods are empty. There is no one else for miles. Just sunlight through the trees, my simple sundress, and the sense of being completely alone together inside a dream of our own making.
The imagery lingered with me long after I finished reading it.
The result is something a little different for me, my first POV film. A change in perspective, a side of myself I don't often share.
You can still hear my voice beneath the music, carried along by Horner's brilliance.
A small piece of freedom, a rare intimate moment Xo
*For those who would like to experience it as it was intended, this is the complete film. If you’d also like the raw version without music, purchase the film and send me a tip, and I’ll deliver it privately.
