Sharing a happy and a sad!

I'm a week-long cruise while I focus on writing. I'm bisexual, but this is specially a sapphic/lesbian cruise, and i'd say... 93% of the population is retirement age. That's an EXCELLENT for focusing on writing, but I've been really sad at the "Boomer Generation" and how they're treating bartenders, waiters, literally everyone. A boomer Karen made a bartender cry today and I over-inserted myself (maybe to the point of it being inappropriate) to correct her and make the server feel safe. Now Abigail (the bartender, once I dried her tears) and I are besties and she's perhaps pouring my wine too generously, but she and ALL the staff deserve to be treated like a human.

A few of you have Ven - mo ' ed me (@ PiperCJ ) for the cruise and right now it's ALL been going to tip money to the service staff. It's been really, really hard to watch an entire generation live up to their stereotype.

Any transactions over that platform while I'm here are 100% going to the hardworking crew who I'm watching face relentless, disappointingly "on the nose" boomer treatment.
