Last night started like any other check-in… I was standing at the reception, talking to the receptionist, my bag right beside me. In a split second, someone walked into the lobby, grabbed it, and ran out like it was nothing. I didn’t even realize until it was too late.

Everything was inside, my wallet, laptop, apartment keys, camera… all gone in seconds, along with my designer bag. It still doesn’t feel real.

What I really don’t understand is how this can happen at the official hotel of the Mutua Madrid Open, where so many players are staying. Again where is the security?

And the most frustrating part… no one is taking responsibility or offering any real help 👏

This video was around 6pm today after my practice, my AirPods pro max was showing live location so we followed it with the police. The robber tried to sell my camera and headphones at a cash converter shop but by the time we got there they left.
