Its getting harder to hide my growing belly at work 😭

This morning, I looked through my closet to find some loose clothes I could wear to work in an effort to conceal my weight gain from my coworkers. After getting dressed, I had to address my growing hunger — I could hear my stomach growling for food. I quickly ate a bowl of frosted flakes while toasting a bagel and piling it with cream cheese to eat in the car on my commute. Thankfully, I left the house a few minutes early so I could stop at dunkin for a large, sugary coffee to caffeinate me and wash down the bagel.

Honestly, my soft belly was pretty well hidden for the first part of the day. But then came lunch…

My job catered lunch today and it was taco tuesday 🤭 During my lunch break, I couldn’t help but fill a plate up with a few tacos and quickly scamper back to my office to eat them up. Thankfully, none of my coworkers saw me, so I casually went back to the break room for seconds. As I was making a few more tacos for myself, I saw a giant bowl of tortilla chips surrounded by containers of assorted dips. I had to make sure the coast was clear before I filled up another plate with chips and grabbed a few cups to fill with queso, guacamole, and salsa. I rushed back to my desk, barely able to hold the plates without spilling anything. I really hoped no one had seen me trying to carry all of that food back to the safety of my own office. I closed the door quietly and devoured the plates in private before getting back to work.

A few minutes later I caught myself rubbing my now very full belly. I looked down and saw how it was trying to poke its way through my shirt, which had become a quite a bit tighter after my massive lunch. I pulled my phone out to record a quick video for my husband, to show him what a good job I did eating my lunch 😏 I thought y’all might want to see, too. I don’t think anyone in my office saw through my window…

I spent the rest of the day hiding my bloated belly under my desk, only getting up a few more times to top it off with more chips & queso, of course.
