whenever that question comes up like ‘what sentimental item would you grab in an emergency’ (other than the important stuff), I think of this rosary… I’ve had it since I was an infant. I’m not religious now but I was raised culturally catholic and my grandmother went to Italy before I was born and purchased this hand made crystal rosary. she was such an important woman in my life- very strong, independent & inspiring. and something about religion, particularly the way catholics do it, is so romantic to me- the stained glass artwork, the tradition and ritual, the sacrifice, the suffering. I find it beautiful and quite erotic- so if you see any religious symbolism in my home decor or personal style, this is why 🫶🏼
