Last morning living in the van for 2026 (and maybe ever 🥰). I haven’t mentioned this anywhere yet, but during this summer break we have actually been looking at apartments in Europe to live in and base ourselves for 2027!

I can’t put into words how hard living in a van is, and not having a home. As a traveller - yes this is THE lifestyle everyone wants to live and I am so grateful I have had the chance to live this nomad lifestyle with Ted by my side… BUT, as an elite professional athlete fighting in the World Championship, living in the van is not the answer. I honestly cry so many times during the year because you have no home, no routine, no consistent training, you can’t even easily do things like shower, so my training has to be strategic as to when I can shower afterwards. There are so many set backs we face living in a van while all my other competitors have a home, a life, a consistent base.

But, we’re looking at changing this for 2027… watch this space. Any money we raise on my OF platform goes directly into helping me have a home in Europe, and I have been saving up my pennies this year to ease the burden next year of having a home.
