Sometimes I wonder at what exact moment we realize we can’t trust someone anymore.

I don’t think trust usually disappears because of one huge mistake. More often, it breaks little by little - a small lie, a strange excuse, a promise that gets broken again… And at some point, you just realize you don’t believe their words the way you used to.

And the hardest part is that you can still care deeply about that person, but there’s already this little doubt inside you that’s so difficult to get rid of 🥹
