“Don’t rush. What’s meant for you won’t pass you by.”
When I first heard this, I thought it was just a beautiful phrase. But then life somehow started showing me just how true it really is…
⠀
I used to be so afraid of falling behind. Falling behind in life, in work, in my dreams… It felt like everyone around me was already moving forward and achieving something, and I had to start running too.
⠀
Sometimes, because of that, I would settle for things that weren’t right for me. I would rush things. Get upset when something didn’t work out right away 🥺
And then I slowly realized: everyone has their own pace.
⠀
Now I try not to compare my life to anyone else’s. If something didn’t work out today - maybe it simply wasn’t the right time. If one door closes - maybe I wasn’t supposed to go through it in the first place.
⠀
What’s a piece of advice you’ve heard that you still remember to this day? ❤️
