i’m sure you can tell, this is the update nobody wanted

quick little update i filmed because i simply couldn’t take it any longer, the guilt has been eating me alive 🥲

long story short - i went to the doctor a couple weeks ago, found out that i’d gone from 447 to 416 from mid-July to the first week of September… and tests are pointing to diabetes 🍭

not mentioning the stress i’ve been dealing with since and because of the fire, the exponentially increased pressure at work due to changes in legislation under the current administration, and the lack of options on doordash at my new place… even if my pancreas wasn’t giving out on me, i’d say i deserve a little grace 😭 (i figure if i say it out loud i’ll believe it)

i’m hoping to get a treatment plan and keep it moving sooner than later. it’s never been an if for me, but a when - i feel like once it’s well managed i’m going to be an absolute menace, and i can’t wait for that 😈
