Why it's so easy for me to be myself here
People often ask me: "Anya, isn't it hard to open up like this?"
And the truth is, it's easy for meβ¦ but not with everyone π That's the whole secret.
I don't play a role. I don't invent some character for the camera β I'm the same as I am in real life: morning yoga, cold showers, a love for khinkali, and always being late to meet my friends π But there's a part of me that not everyone gets to see. And that part I only open up to those who know how to really look.
You know, I didn't come here from an easy life. There was a breakup, a move to a foreign country, zero support behind me. And instead of hiding, I chose to get to know myself, to accept myself, and to stop being shy. That's where this lightness comes from β it's not put on, it's hard-earned. And when you've got nothing to hide from yourself, opening up to others stops being scary.
But being open doesn't mean "for everyone." I was badly let down once, and ever since then I value real closeness. I don't hand out my attention to just anyone β I give it to those who know how to appreciate it. And you know what's funny? The less I chase after everyone, the more the right people are drawn to me. It doesn't matter if you're 23 or 45 β what matters is who you are on the other side of the screen.
So yes, it's easy for me. Because here, I'm real. And the real onesβ¦ still have to earn it π€
