UPDATE: Hey everyone ♥️ first off, I want to thank you all for all the sweet comments and messages you guys left in the wake of my last post. I honestly didn’t expect that kind of response, but I’m VERY grateful for everyone’s kind words. To answer everyone’s question, yes I am okay! TLDR- Thursday I had an unfortunate incident and a very heavy box fell and hit me in the face while I was wearing my glasses. My glasses frames are metal, so they cut down on the top of my cheek and left two pretty nasty gashes. I can’t post photos due to the TOS, but it was gruesome.

At the time of posting on Friday, the damage was looking bad and I assumed it would be permanent, deep scaring. The timing of it was super unfortunate because from this past Thursday till tomorrow I have a handful of out of state friends staying with me (hence why I have been absent from my inbox). Thankfully 1) it didn’t require stitches 2) during the rest of the weekend I was able to wear (and still am) a silicone flesh colored bandage to help it heal + conceal the mark. As of right now though, it’s looking a LOT better. I’m unsure if it will leave a mark atp, but if it does it definitely won’t be as severe as I initially feared it would be; a few trips to the dermatologist for treatment should solve any lingering issues. The bad news is my glasses broke 😭 anyone who wears glasses knows those things are NOT cheap, even worse for me because I don’t have insurance. I may do a fundraiser for them in the future (they’re wearable-ish…but they need to be replaced point black), we’ll see 💀
