Hello my lovely little taste buds. I have been a bit overwhelmed lately and slower to respond and keep up with messages.

One of the closest people to me, my niece, fought cancer for several years and sadly lost her battle. She passed away at only 28 and leaves behind two children.

I helped raise her, and one of my favorite memories is from when she was a kid. For some reason she loved to climb me like a tree, pretending I was her personal jungle gym, jumping off without a care in the world. That memory still makes me smile when I think of her.

Thank you all for understanding. I promise I will get back to everyone once I find my rhythm again. Please take time to enjoy the wonderful things in life and cherish each other.
