Bug-Hunting as a Mindset: My 5 Favorite Ways to Catch a Tiny
My house is constantly invaded by tinies. They sneak in, hide in corners, and think they belong here. But I don’t tolerate pests. I hunt them. Hunting crumbs isn’t just a pastime or necessity. It’s an art form. And like any art, it takes instinct, creativity, and a deep appreciation for your prey's foolish optimism.
Here are my five favorite indoor-catching techniques every giantess should master.
1. The Still Stare
I sit quietly in a room, pretending to be distracted. Crumbs always move when they think I’m not watching. One glance, one fast hand. Caught.
2. Dancing on the Carpet
I put on music and start slow dancing. Some tinies freeze, enchanted. Others come closer to watch. That’s when I lower my heel and hold them in place. I don’t crush them. Not yet.
3. Warm Bath
I leave out a warm bowl of water. Irresistible, right? They crawl in to splash around. I simply pick up the bowl and pour my little swimmers into a jar.
4. Fake Sleep
I lie down, eyes closed, pretending to nap. They creep closer every time. One twitch of my foot, and they’re pinned.
5. The Spinning Bottle Trap
A baited bottle spins above a bowl of water. They climb up for a taste, slip, and fall right in. Simple and foolproof. _The efficacy of this trap will be seen with your own eyes in the first episode of my giantess series.
