We're often accustomed to being important to others: to family, work, friends, commitments.

But we rarely ask ourselves a simple question: how important are we to our own lives?

Sometimes a person lives as if they're a secondary character in their own story.

They adapt, put their desires aside, put others' expectations above their feelings.

And over time, they begin to forget that their life is also their space, their path, and their choice.

Recognizing your own significance isn't about selfishness.

It's about respecting yourself, your time, your dreams, and your boundaries.

When a person understands that they're important in their life, they begin to treat themselves more carefully.

They choose what makes them stronger, calmer, and happier.

Sometimes it's enough to stop and honestly ask yourself:

Am I living my life or simply fulfilling someone else's expectations?

Because, ultimately, we are the most important person in our own story.
