Self-love is not selfishness or caprice. It's when you stop waiting for outside approval and start being on your own side. Always. ❤️
It's about saying to yourself:
“I'm doing great,” even if the day wasn't perfect.
“I'm allowed to rest,” even if there's still a hundred things to do.
“I am not a project with a deadline, but a person” who is entitled to feelings, weaknesses and growth.
Self-love isn't just a bubble bath and candles (although that's certainly nice🛁). It's also:
Knowing how to say no,
allowing yourself to be wrong,
choosing to surround yourself with people who don't drag you down,
and most importantly, talking to yourself not as an enemy, but as a friend.
You don't have to be “eternally productive,” perfect, or comfortable. It's enough to be yourself. And there's plenty of that already.
So today is a reminder: you are worthy of love. Right now. No conditions, no ifs. Just because you are. 🤍
