My tiny miracle, weighing just 300 grams…

I still remember that cold October day — the yard of an old school and this tiny, trembling little bundle. It was such a hard time, but I looked into her eyes and knew I couldn’t just walk away. She was so helpless — only 300 grams of life! Now my Marsyunya (also Marsik, and when she’s being naughty — the fierce Mars 😂) has grown into a gorgeous five-kilogram queen.

But the story didn’t end there. Marsy decided our home needed even more love. She gave birth to four beautiful kittens, and I thought — that’s it. But a day later, in the middle of the night, she quietly came to my bed… Half asleep, I couldn’t believe my eyes — I thought I was dreaming! And there she was — one more tiny baby, our Snezhka. The fifth one, the latest arrival, and somehow the most “mine.”

Letting the other kittens go broke my heart. I personally took each of them to their new families, making sure they would be loved just as deeply as I loved them. And Snezhka stayed.

Was I scared? Yes. The responsibility felt overwhelming… But now, when they’re both purring beside me, I know I did the right thing.
