I was going through my photos and found shots from the trip to Tenerife. Remembered this funny moment from the place in the photo. My bestie and I decided: “Let’s go to Teide National Park, it’s beautiful there, we’ll take a ton of photos!” We planned everything… well, almost🤫

The road turned out to be pretty rough — endless serpentine turns and super high up. But when we finally arrived among those unreal volcanic landscapes, it was pure delight🔥

But not everything went according to plan. I didn’t check beforehand what shoes are best to wear, and my favorite new white sneakers (that I saved up for forever) turned “volcanic.” There was so much red dust and ash in them that it feels like I brought a piece of Teide home with me.
