Sana was a brief stop in this new life of travel, and not content with just that, I embraced the idea of becoming a camper. Drifting feels like a real option when all you have to do is pitch a roof and set out in search of a new adventure.

My birthday—a date that over time has taken on a sense of lightness—found me in an abyssal landscape, where the clouds passed through me, or perhaps I passed through them. The jungle of Brazil’s interior revealed a landscape in motion, a green so vivid it can be breathed in and heard like life itself.

The rest is history: warmhearted people in a town frozen in time, cows—cows and more cows—dotting the vast ranching mountains of the place that welcomed me as I continued to venture deeper into the immensity of the interior of what, more than a country, feels like a continent.
