Discovering secret beaches, creeping through abandoned warehouses, this city without a doubt has had an easy time keeping me entertained. All this with a recently broken foot, so keeping it "easy" as possible. I've been camping in Arraial do Cabo since Feb 28th. Something liberating about just letting it go. Disconnect. The camp ground is behind Pontal Beach so I always get to say goodnight to Iemanjá. This has all been somewhat of a fairy tale.

Just a couple of days in town I met two guys. One from Argentina and the other Venezuela. A wonderful couple and a great energy. They have a "pousada" here. Pousada is something like a hostel. But it sometimes comes off like a boutique hotel. Not sure how to explain it. Anyhow, they've invited me to stay a few days with them in exchange of publicity. Surreal!

This Friday will be 8 weeks since my surgery. I'm getting an x-ray just to make sure everything is good and in place. I'll have to head back to Rio for my exam and from there going to São Sebastião to deal with a couple of things. And since I'll be so close to São Paulo I've decided to make a quick trip home before heading back to Arraial to check in at Chamos Pousada.

The adventure continues...
