These 20 photos are just a tiny glimpse of the 10 years I lived with my tutuco, my best friend and my little son.
I am immensely grateful for having shared so many years with you (even though my heart always wished for more and more). Friends, relationships, and homes came and went, and you were always by my side, sharing every space I lived in. You were (and will forever be) the most precious soul in my life. I learned so much about love and care with you. Thank you for that too.
Exactly one year ago, you almost left — on the exact day I became a veterinarian. I prayed and asked the universe for the chance to be your doctor, to take care of you for a little while longer. Thank you, universe, for giving me one more year with my love.
Today there is a hole in my heart. I feel like a piece of my body is missing. But I know you were deeply loved and cared for with all my heart.
I don’t have words to describe what I’m feeling. I’m deeply grateful for all the kind messages (and there were many — you were truly very loved).
Rest in peace, my little love, my tutuco, my dinosaur, my zizão. You were perfect until the very end, and you left happy and surrounded by love. You are a very important part of me, and I will carry you forever in my heart, my little one, my animal brother. 🤍
Because of this loss, I will need a few days before I can resume my customs-related tasks and video calls. I’m not emotionally able to handle them right now, and I truly appreciate your understanding.
