I've had so many people assume I'm american today, more than the usual amount anyway but I've set my new welcome message as a video and I speak in it, hence the surprise responses I guess.
I'm definitely British, not Australian although I do tend to say Naurrrr instead of no, but that's also a thing we do here dependant on whereabouts you hail from.

Did anyone else get my nationality wrong on initial impressions?
