Sky High Confessional #27: Am I Horny All Year Round?
As we head into winter here in Australia, the days are getting shorter. It never _really _gets that cold in Sydney, but it's definitely chilly enough to make you want to stay home, throw on a hoodie, and hibernate a little.
At the same time, most of you, my awesome fans, are in the Northern Hemisphere, where summer is just getting started. Every time I open social media, I'm seeing people out at the beach, travelling, partying, and making the most of those long summer days after what can be some pretty brutal winters. And it got me thinking about something interesting: how does our sex drive actually change throughout the year?
Believe it or not, I was never a hugely sexual person earlier in life. Doing OnlyFans has definitely helped me explore that side of myself more, and one of the things I've come to love most is talking with my fans about sex, relationships, fantasies, and all the weird and wonderful things that make us human.
To be honest, when I first started, I struggled with that. There were times when I felt really horny and curious, and other times when I just wasn't feeling it at all. During those quieter periods, I sometimes felt like I was letting my fans down. I think part of me assumed that because I was creating adult content, I was somehow supposed to be switched on all the time. But that's not how people work. Sexuality isn't a constant. It ebbs and flows, just like our energy, our mood, and our lives.
Over the last few years, though, I've noticed something has changed. The more comfortable I've become with my sexuality, the more curious I've become about it. So while my sexual energy still rises and falls throughout the year, the overall baseline is definitely higher than it used to be.
Here in Sydney, there's what I jokingly call "mating season", around January and February. Summer is at its peak, the days are long, Mardi Gras is approaching, everyone's outside, and maybe it's the heat and humidity, but the sexual energy in the city feels almost impossible to ignore. Winter feels completely different. People spend more time at home. The energy becomes a little slower and softer. People still want connection, but it feels less about wild nights out and more about comfort, intimacy, and closeness. I definitely notice myself becoming even more of a homebody this time of year.
So am I horny all year round? The answer is yes, but differently. Some seasons make me feel adventurous. Some make me feel romantic. Some make me want to get out and meet people. Others make me want to stay home under a blanket and connect with someone one-on-one. The desire is still there. It just changes shape.
I'm curious, do you notice your sex drive changing throughout the year too, or is it pretty much the same no matter the season?
